Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home

Our Facilities

Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home is centrally located in Elwood, just south of the downtown area on beautifully restored Anderson Street. Our colonial-style building is well landscaped with large, paved parking lots, which are brightly illuminated at night. A ramp entrance just off the parking area provides easy access for all patrons visiting the funeral home - especially wheelchairs and motorized scooters.

With major renovation projects completed in 2000, 2005, 2009, and 2018 - great care has been taken to maintain a comfortable environment with a "home-like" atmosphere. Our 10,000 square-foot facility consists of a large foyer reception area, two convenient coat rooms with space for over 180 coats, and three spacious chapels to privately accommodate multiple services.

In addition, there is a planning office, product display room, and two separate lounges located near the main chapels where families can enjoy coffee, food, and complimentary soft drinks. Restrooms are fully handicapped accessible and bottled water service is provided. In 2006, a large children’s playroom was completed for the benefit of parents with small children who need a place to relax, play, or unwind. Various furniture groupings throughout the funeral home make conversations easy and comfortable.

In addition to the public areas, we have a large administrative office and complete preparation facilities where all work is carefully performed by our own licensed staff members. A large, heated garage protects our modern fleet of professional vehicles, and an ADT / Brinks commercial security system keeps all of our buildings safe and protected for your family's peace of mind.

Our funeral home is completely equipped with state-of-the-art audio and video technology equipment. All funeral services are audio recorded for the benefit of family members, and soft background music heard by guests helps to comfort their visit to the funeral home. Large, flat-screen video monitors are installed in each chapel to provide a meaningful way of projecting Life Tribute Memorial Videos during visitations and funeral services.

We invite you to visit us at any time to view our facility, discuss pre-arrangements, or simply find honest answers to any questions you might have. Our entire building is always kept neat, clean, and ready for your personal tour. Our goal is to make a difficult time easier and more memorable for every member of your family.
