Obituary

Zaidyn Adam Elsworth, age 2 of Elwood, gained his angel wings and entered Heaven unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis following sudden health complications earlier in the day. He was born December 19, 2014 in Anderson to Jacob A. Elsworth and Tasha R. Knick. Zaidyn was a wonderful little boy who loved life, and was always sharing his smile with everyone. He loved everything about "Minions"; enjoyed listening to music and dancing around like a 2-year old; and loved spending time with his grandparents. He also like motorcycles which he called "mo-mo's", and was always comforted by his "blanky" and stuffed Curious George. Zaidyn was a good eater, and liked hot dogs, apples, grapes, and macaroni and cheese. In just 2 years, his life touched so many lives that will forever be changed by his passing. He was just recently baptized in Indianapolis. Heaven has certainly gained a wonderful little boy that will never be forgotten.

Zaidyn's parents would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the family and friends who have shown support to them in such a short timeframe. The outpouring of thoughts, prayers, and Facebook messages have been unbelievable and so much appreciated.

Zaidyn's family includes his parents, Jacob Elsworth and Tasha Knick of Elwood; 2 sisters, Makenzi and Rylee both of Elwood; paternal grandparents, "Pap" Dwain and "Nanny" Shirley Elsworth of Elwood; maternal grandparents, "Pap" Terrell and "Maw" Ronda Knick of Elwood; great-grandparents, Margie Hayward of Elwood and Robert Dehart of Elwood; and many special extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Shailey Elsworth in 2013; great-grandparents, Jerry Hayward, Mary Michael, Larry Elsworth, Joyce Baughn, and Mary Snyder; and great-great-grandmother, June Tomlinson.

A public visitation will be held from 3 to 6 PM on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood. A funeral service will also be held at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Ruder of the 3rd Street Church of God officiating, but the family wishes it to be a private service for the family. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital Pediatric ICU department through the funeral home. Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
