Yolanda Casas , age 73 of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 surrounded by her family at her home.  She was born June 17, 1948 in Elwood, the daughter of Guadalupe and Antonia (Rodriguez) Casas, Sr.  Yolanda was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elwood.  She enjoyed a simple life, and loved spending time with her family and especially her nieces and nephews.  Yolanda loved watching people, looking at books and magazines, and watching "I Love Lucy" on television.  She lived her life to the fullest and laughed often.  Yolanda will be missed.

Yolanda's family includes 4 siblings, Hilda Casas of Elwood, Dora Reed of Elwood, Isabell (husband David) Rodriquez of New Albany, and Guadalupe (wife Anita) Casas, Jr. of Kokomo; and many special nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by both her parents and two brothers, Jose Casas and Oscar Casas.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 4, 2022 at St. Joseph Church in Elwood with Father Dennis Goth officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Elwood.  Visitation for family and friends will take place from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood prior to the funeral mass at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.copherfeslermay.com.
