Obituary

William H. "Bill" Roller, age 64 of Noblesville and formerly of Elwood, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born on October 7, 1950 in Elwood, the son of James R. and Minnie Lavone (Justis) Roller. Bill worked at State Plating Corporation in Elwood for over 25 years in the buffing department, and retired in 2004. He was an avid sports fan – especially the Green Bay Packers, and a classic car enthusiast. Bill enjoyed fishing; was an accomplished bowler; and loved NASCAR as a devoted fan of Jeff Gordon. More than anything, he was devoted to his family.

Bill's family includes 6 siblings, Nancy L. Hobbs of Elwood, Jim Roller of Elwood, Brenda Buis of Kokomo, Linda S. (husband Bob) Abbott of Tipton, Sharon (husband Dan) Heller of Thorntown, and Ruth (husband Stan) House of Noblesville; numerous nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews; and good friend, Mark Etchison of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, William H. Roller, Jr.; and a sister, Pam Roller.

Funeral services celebrating Bill's life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Tom King officiating. Cremation will follow the service, and burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral on Tuesday at the funeral home.
