Obituary

William Harold Ebert, 97 of Anderson and formerly of Frankton, died on December 1,2010 at Manor Care in Anderson after an extended illness. He was born on May 9, 1913 in Elwood, Indiana. He retired in 1983 from Frankton Community School Corporation as a bus driver for many years and also enjoyed farming. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Anderson where he served as a Deacon. He received many plaques from school children for his driving ability and passion with the children on his bus route.

Suriviors include: Step-Son – Gregory (Teddy) Manderbach of Anderson; Step-Daughter – Lita (Lief) Greene of Anderson; 6 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Nephews – Leon Ebert, Harris Ebert, Larry Stottlemyer, and Gene Stottlemyer; 3 Nieces – Reba Simmons, Phyllis Edwards, and Judy Gall. He was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe and Grace (Welborn) Ebert; 1st Wife - Margaret (Stottlemyer) Ebert; 2nd Wife – Tressa (Perry) Ebert; Brother – Raymond Ebert; Sister – Ruby Stottlemyer; Nephew – Eldon Ebert.

Funeral Services at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2010 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Terry Nennick officiating. Burial will take place in the Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation from 3 to 7 PM Monday December 8, 2010 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church through the funeral home.
