Wanda A. Achor, age 86 of Marion, went to meet her Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ - on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne following a brief illness. She was born April 12, 1925 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Donald E. and Mary (Bishop) Achor. She was a teacher most of her life, and retired from teaching Kindergarten in the Daleville School System in 1985. She attended Ball State University and Manchester College. She formerly taught in Tucson, AZ.

She is survived by: Sister-in-Law – Joyce Achor of Decatur; Niece – Anita (husband Mike) Smith of Decatur; Great-Niece – Michelle (husband Brian) Taubert; 2 Great-Great Nieces – Lindsey and Briana; Great-Great Nephew – Benjamin; Special Friends – Blythe Tewilliger and Janice Tewiliger both of Elwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Brother – Nelson S. Achor.

Per Wanda's wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Private funeral services and burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson with Rev.
