Tyler Daniel Haneline , age 48 of Claypool and formerly of Elwood and Pendleton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 1, 2019, in North Manchester. He was born on April 4, 1971 in Elwood, the son of Anthony T. "Tony" and Rebecca J. "Becky" (Cloud) Haneline. He was a 1989 graduate of Elwood Community High School, and later graduated from I.T.T. Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering. He currently worked in maintenance at Tradewinds Logistics in Westfield where he enjoyed working very much. Tyler married Michelle L. Harper on September 18, 2018. He was an avid lover of animals, nature, and being outdoors. Tyler also enjoyed hunting arrow heads, metal detecting, bird-watching, and chasing storms. He loved going hunting and fishing with his dad for many years. Tyler especially enjoyed Sundays, holidays, and time at his family's lake home. More than anything, he loved spending time with all his family. Tyler was always known as a kind and gentle person who was always willing to help others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tyler's family includes his wife, Michelle L. (Harper) Haneline of Pendleton; father, Anthony T. "Tony" Haneline of Claypool; sister, April Simpson (companion Chris Sagarsee) of Pendleton; nieces and nephews, Whitney Haneline, Zack Robertson, Jon Wright, Quentin Simpson, and Kyndal Sagarsee; step-son, Gavin Sandefur of Pendleton; great-nephew, Jayden Brock; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his special cat, "Buddy". Tyler was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca J. "Becky" Haneline in 2017; sister, Kim A. Haneline; nephew, Joshua Haneline; and grandparents, Daniel and LeVeda Longnecker and Robert and Mary Cloud.
A memorial service celebrating Tyler's life will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home with family friend, Rich Leavell, officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Elwood City Cemetery with his family. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday, June 7, 2019 prior to the memorial service at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
