Timothy L. Clark, age 65 of Daleville and formerly of Elwood, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Muncie following an extended illness. He was born August 14, 1949 in Elwood, the son of Hiram Bennett and Thelma (Brummet) Clark. He attended Wendell L. Willkie High School, and later enlisted in the U.S. Army. Tim was proud to have served in Korea and Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He married Lillian M. Ellison on November 16, 1974, and they shared over 40 years together. Tim retired on disability from Wilson's Furniture Store in Daleville where he had worked for many years as a furniture mover. He loved to fish; spend time with his family and grandchildren; and was known as quite a jokester. Tim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Tim's family includes his wife Lillian Clark of Daleville; 2 children, Jamie (Sherry) Clark of Niagra Falls, Ontario, and Stephania Clark (Fiance' Sandy Summers) both of Daleville; 5 brothers, Robert Clark of Elwood, Rexie Clark of Elwood, Fred Clark of Tennessee, Earl Clark of Elwood, and Bill (Pat) Clark of Tipton; 5 grandchildren, Eli Clark, Ella Clark, Eva Clark, Caitlin Stoops (Brent Robinett), Kenneth (Fiance Allison Dinndorf) Robinett; 4 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law Ann Ellison of Daleville; 3 sisters-in-law, Helen (Bill) King, Kathy (Gary) Collard, and Mary (Charles) Peavler; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; sister Bonnie Wilhoite; and brother Bennett Clark.
Funeral services celebrating Tim's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood, with Rev. Doug Henkelman officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home at the conclusion of the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
