Teresa M. Frawley, age 67 of Elwood, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospice Center in Indianapolis following a brief illness. She was born June 24, 1946 in Elwood, the daughter of Thomas M. and Iinine "Fern" (Evans) Frawley. Teresa was a paralegal at the law offices of Steven Smith and the law offices of Frank Stevenson for many years. She was a 1964 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School, and later received an Associate Degree from Ivy Tech College in paralegal studies. She enjoyed shopping, and loved watching court TV. She was also a dedicated follower of the current news and an avid sports fan. Teresa especially enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered as a very loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Teresa's family includes 2 brothers, Tom (wife Karen) Frawley of Elwood and Rick Frawley of Elwood; sister, Joby Leisure of Elwood; 11 nieces and nephews, Michael Hinchman, Ashley Stinson, Megan Himes, Macy Chambers, Drew Leisure, Kevin Thering, Jack Casto, Sam Frawley, Andy Frawley, Teresa Lenehan, and Gigi Gordan; and several special great- nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Michael Scott McQueen.
A funeral service celebrating Teresa's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Gary Shore of the Church at the Well officiating. Private burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3 to 7 PM on Thursday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Elwood Mission through the funeral home.
