Sylvianna R. Davidson , age 46 of Elwood, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Ascension-St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness. She was born July 7, 1975 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Jerry Davidson and Linda (Garrity) Parker. Sylvianna was a 1993 graduate of Frankton High School. She most recently worked as a home health care aide, and she formerly worked at Jackson Hewitt in Anderson. Sylvianna's favorite job was when she worked for the Elwood Chamber of Commerce for over 5 years. She enjoyed listening to music, especially the bands, "Pantera", "System of the Down", "The Beatles", Chris Cornell and "Guns and Roses." More than anything, Sylvianna loved being a mom to her children.
Sylvianna's family includes her mother, Linda Parker of Chesterfield; 3 children, Patrick Hobbs of Elwood, Briana Hobbs of Elwood, and Jake Davidson of Elwood; longtime companion of over 30 years, Robert Hobbs of Elwood; 2 brothers, Stephen Davidson of Elwood and Marshall Davidson of Indianapolis; 2 sisters, Shanda Davidson of Alexandria and Nicole Davidson of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Sylvianna was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents.
Cremation will take place and a memorial service celebrating Sylvianna's life will take place at a later date. Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home is honored to handle Sylvianna's services.
