Obituary

Susan H. "Sue" Craig , age 73 of Elwood, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Elwood Health and Living following an extended illness.  She was born April 30, 1946 in Anderson, the daughter of John E. and Catherine L. Sue's family includes her daughter, Nikki (husband Anthony) Morris of Orestes; step-daughter, Jana Craig of Anderson; 4 grandchildren, Cole Morris, Kaleigh Morris, Ryan Morris and Gené Matlack; sister, Louise Hudson of Kansas; brother, Terry Lee (wife Linda) Humerickhouse of Anderson; brother-in-law, Lindon (wife Ann) Craig of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by both her parents; husband, Lee E. Craig; 4 sisters, Alice Gold, Laura Furney, Anna Mae Gustin, and Imogene Poole; 4 brothers, Bud Humerickhouse, Jim Humerickhouse, Larry Humerickhouse, and Max Humerickhouse; and mother and father in-law, Illa Jeanne (husband Bruce) Gage.

A funeral service celebrating Sue's life will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Charlie Hoover of the Aroma United Methodist Church and Phyllis Hunter, officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date in Anderson Memorial Park.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2020 prior to the funeral service at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions are suggested to the Aroma United Methodist Church through the funeral home.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at copherfeslermay.com.
