Susan Rebecca Jung, age 64 of Tipton, passed away June 23, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton following a period of declining health. She was born September 23, 1946 at Mercy Hospital in Elwood, the daughter of Herman A. and Bernice P. (Good) Jung. Becky, as she was known to her family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Tipton County. She attended St. Joseph Parochial School in Elwood. During her youth, she was an avid bowler; loved the color purple; enjoyed her Uno cards; and had a huge crush on David Cassidy and the Partridge Family. Following the death of her parents, Becky lived at the St. Vincent New Hope Home in Indianapolis, and enjoyed her time there. Despite her limitations, she never ceased to amaze her family with her sense of humor and her candid comments.

Survivors include: 3 Brothers – Philip (Debbie) Jung of Cicero, James (Frankie) Jung of Cicero, George Jung of Shelbyville, KY; Sister – Annette M. (Tom) Miles of Terre Haute; Sister-in-law – Tony Jung (wife of the late Tim Jung) of Tipton; 10 Nieces; 11 Nephews; 11 Great-Nieces and 8 Great-Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and a Brother – Timothy M. Jung.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 27, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elwood with Father Michael Kettron officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the funeral mass at St. Joseph Church on Monday. Arrangements are being handled by Copher-Fesler-May Funeral home in Elwood.
