Obituary

Susan K. Eller , age 65 of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.  She was born August 11, 1954 in Elwood, the daughter of Raymond E. and Betty J. (McGee) Bouslog.  She attended Elwood schools.  Susan married Robert F. "Bob" Eller on June 23, 1973, and they shared over 46 years of marriage together.  She was a spot welder at General Cage Corporation in Elwood for over 32 years until she retired in 2005.  Susan especially enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.  She also enjoyed singing karaoke and playing games on her computer like Farm-Town, Song Pop, and Criminal Case.  Susan especially loved the Christmas and Halloween holidays, and she was known for her enthusiasm in decorating for these occasions.  Susan was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Indianapolis Colts.  More than anything, Susan loved spending time with all her family and her cats.

Susan's family includes her husband, Robert F. "Bob" Eller of Elwood; 2 sons, Jason Eller (Jennifer Johnson) of Sharpsville and Joshua Eller of Elwood; 4 siblings, Helen (husband Bob) Unroe of Fairmount, Donald (wife Bobbie Jean) Bouslog of Frankton, Michael Bouslog of Tennessee, and Jeff Bouslog of Elwood; 6 grandchildren, Caleb Duncan-Eller, Mackenzi Eller, Kendra Eller, Chloe Eller, Caden Eller and Ephraim Eller; brother-in-law, Tony Eller of Indianapolis; father-in-law, Robert (wife Rosie) Eller of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.  Susan was preceded in death by both her parents and mother-in-law, Lois A. Eller.

A funeral service celebrating Susan's life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with family member, Pastor Jim Bouslog, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery in Elwood.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at copherfeslermay.com.
