Obituary

Sue Ellen Isenhour , age 74 of Elwood, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Community Hospital in Anderson after a very brief illness.  She was born on December 25, 1946 in Lebanon, the daughter of John D. and Viola "Ruth" (Shirley) Isenhour.  Sue was a 1964 graduate of Lebanon High School and later graduated from Ball State University in Muncie where she earned her Bachelor's Degree.  She was formerly a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon where she grew up.  Sue worked as an executive secretary for G.E. Corporation, IBM Corporation, and last at Roche Pharmaceutical Company before retiring.  Sue was married to Barry Wilkinson for the last 13 years.

Sue lived her life to the fullest.  She was an avid golfer most of her life and a former member of the Elwood Country Club where she enjoyed socializing with friends.  She also enjoyed playing euchre, crafting, knitting, and spending time at Lake Jones.  Sue took several memorable trips through the years and especially enjoyed traveling.  More than anything, Sue's family was the center of her life.  She loving nothing more than spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Sue will be remembered for always putting her family before herself.  Her love and legacy will never be forgotten.

Sue's family legacy includes her husband, Barry Wilkerson of Elwood; son, Jason Kleinbub of Lapel; sister, Shirley McClaine of Lebanon; 2 grandchildren, Kourtney (Kenny) Krabbe of Lapel and Konnor Kleinbub of Lapel; 4 great-grandchildren, Dehlila Kleinbub, Kayleigh Krabbe, Ella Krabbe, and Ethan Krabbe; and several nieces and nephews incuding Andrea (Tim) Hester, John (Nikki) Asbury, and Jessica (John) McClaine-Mount.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents

Cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood.  Memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter or Humane Society of the donor's choice.  Online condolences and memories may be shared with her family at www.copherfeslermay.com.
