Stella L. Raison , age 78 of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024 at Elwood Health and Living following an extended illness.  She was born March 14, 1946 in Anderson, the daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Harrison) Raison.  For 30 years, Stella worked as a CNA in Anderson and retired from St. John's Hospital.  She was formerly a member of the Moose Lodge in Elwood.  Stella enjoyed watching television, cooking, and relaxing by coloring.  She liked to play bingo and also loved playing card games.  Stella cherished spending time with her daughter no matter the occasion.  Stella will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Stella's family includes daughter, Lisa Stafford of Elwood; 2 sons, Ronald Robinette of Anderson, and Rob Dewitt of Anderson; 2 grandchildren, Cody Coons of Kentucky, and Melanie Coons of Kentucky;  5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Stella was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Dewitt; and son in law, Doyle "Lee" Stafford.
