Sheila K. (Kaiser) Kelich, age 55 of Elwood, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 after a long illness. She was born October 21, 1958 in Elwood the daughter of Jerry J. and E. Joyce (Beasley) Kaiser. She worked in production at General Cage Corporation in Elwood for more than 20 years. Sheila was a 1977 graduate of Elwood Community High School. She enjoyed reading, cross stitch, painting, and crafts. Sheila loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sheila's family includes her mother, Joyce Kaiser of Elwood; 3 children, Darlene Kelich (companion Kip Achenbach) of Hobbs, Nate Kelich of Russiaville, and Jesse (wife Tennille) Kelich of Elwood; 2 brothers, Jerry D. (wife Donna) Kaiser of Tennessee and Bruce K. Kaiser of Elwood; 2 sisters, Cheryl D. (husband Jim) Harvey of Anderson and Sandra A. (husband Mark) Harney of Elwood; 6 grandchildren, Chelby Kelich, Sydnee Kelich, Dylan Ochenbach, Nicholas Dodge, Alex Dodge, and Dylan Dodge; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

A memorial service celebrating Sheila's life will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Bill Johnston of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.  Burial will take place privately in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sheila's Grandchildren's college fund at Madison County Federal Credit Union or to The American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
