Sean Michael Romine , age 51 of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Sun., Aug. 25, 2024 at his residence.  He was born February 26, 1973 in Elwood, the son of Daniel K. Romine and Tamara L. (Conwell) Etchison.  Sean was a 1991 graduate of Ben Davis High School and furthered his education at Indiana University in Bloomington.  He enjoyed studying and learning about law.  Sean previously worked as a mortgage broker and a furniture salesman, but due to his health had to retire at a young age.  He loved to be around people and was always known as being the life of the party.  Sean liked to watch movies and play any type of game.  Before he began to have health issues, he was very athletic in sports in his youth.  He had a kind heart and loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews.  Sean will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sean's family includes his mother, Tamara L. Etchison of Elwood; 2 sisters, Katie Carpenter of Tipton and Sarah (husband Seth) Carpenter-Simpson of Sheridan; previous wife and special friend, Margarita Romine of Noblesville; 5 step-children, Alberto, Juan, Javier, Maria, and Andrea; 8 nieces and nephews, Jamie, Julie, Alivia, Josephine, Michael, Jesse, Wyatt, and Owen; 3 great-nephews, Jayden, Jesse, and Sam; and good friend, Aaron Hall.  Sean was preceded in death by his father, Daniel K. Romine; 2 uncles, Michael Conwell and Jeffrey Conwell; sister, Amy Ensley; and 2 good friends, Mike Heathcoate and Valisis Alexander.
