Savannah Renea Pease

Savannah Renea Pease, age 43 of Alexandria (Moonsville community), passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Community Heart & Vascular Hospital after a very unexpected illness. She was born on June 18, 1983 in Madisonville, Kentucky the oldest daughter of Brian K. Pease and Donna R. (Steeley) Morgan. Savannah was a 2001 graduate of Elwood High School where she was active in the choir and drama club. She formerly attended Central Wesleyan Church in Elwood.

Savannah’s children and family were the absolute joy of her life. She and her companion of over 25 years, George Bridenthal, loved traveling and playing video games together while raising their family. Savannah was known by her family as a tremendous cook with fudge and pecan pie as her specialties at family dinners. She also truly loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. Savannah will always be remembered for being empathetic and compassionate toward everyone she encountered. She was graciously more focused on the needs of others than her own. Her spirit and memory will live on in the legacy of her family and countless friends in her life.

Savannah’s family includes her mother, Donna Morgan and bonus dad, Chris Morgan of Elwood; fiance, George Bridenthal of Alexandria; two children, Seth T. Bridenthal and Audrie N. Bridenthal both of Alexandria; 4 siblings, C.J. Morgan (Sydney Collis) of Elwood, Kayla Morgan (Drew Dow) of Alexandria, Kimberly (Rodney) Jones of Frankfort, and Kelli (Rodney) Barber of Frankfort; maternal grandfather, James David “Pa” Steeley of Dawson Springs, KY; step-grandfather, Michael “Pa” Hazel; and special nephew, Renji Dow, as well as several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Savannah was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandmother, Lois “Nan” Steeley; paternal grandparents, J.C. and Irene Pease; and step-grandmother, Brenda Hazel.

A funeral service celebrating Savannah’s life will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Destiny Bess officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 to 6 pm on Tuesday prior to the funeral at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family offset funeral expenses.
