Rosa Lee Tinch, age 61 of Anderson, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at St. John's Hospital in Anderson following an extended battle with cancer. She was born May 10, 1951 in Anderson, the daughter of Harold and Mary Jane (Dague) Mills. She formerly worked at J.D. Byrider Auto Sales in Anderson as a secretary until 2010. She married Melvin "Junior" Tinch on December 28, 2008 after many years together. Rosa enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, going to car shows, reading, sewing, and knitting. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her six grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; 3 children, David (Jessica) Conway of Pendleton, Sarah (Robert) Dick of Anderson, and Tracy (Jeremy) Krieg of Anderson; brother, Dennis (Deanna) Mills of Indianapolis; 2 sisters, Linda Mills of Anderson and Anita West (companion Wendell White) of Anderson; grandchildren, Christopher Dick, Kaylee Dick, Tyler Conway, Jeffrey Krieg, Anna Conway, and Emma Krieg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM at
Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home – 415 South Anderson Street, Elwood with Rev. Roger Gardner of the East Main Street Christian Church officiating.
