Ronda L.
Knick
Nov 25, 1964 — May 28, 2017
Ronda L. Knick, age 52 of Elwood, was called to Heaven on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis following an extended illness. She was born on November 25, 1964 in Elwood, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Bartholomew) DeHart. Ronda worked several years at Ricker's, and also formerly worked at Deflecto Corporation in Noblesville and other companies in customer service. She married Terrell R. Knick on February 7, 1998, and they shared over 19 years of marriage together. Ronda enjoyed playing bingo at the Eagles Lodge in Alexandria, playing euchre, and playing badminton in her backyard. She looked forward to spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed camping at Mississinewa Reservoir, fishing and having cookouts at Morse Beach, and taking her children (and later her grandchildren) to parades, concerts in the park, and area festivals. Ronda loved to cook, and always made an effort to bring family together during the holidays. She was a quiet, loving, and accepting person; and will always have a special place in everyone's heart.
Ronda's family includes her husband, Terrell R. Knick of Elwood; daughter, Tasha Knick (companion Jacob Elsworth) of Elwood; son, Tyler Knick (companion Kelli) both of Elwood; father, Robert DeHart of Anderson; sister, June Jacobs of Anderson; brother, Rodney Dehart of Elwood; 2 grandchildren, Makenzi Rybecki and Tryston Knick; special niece Nikki, and many more nieces and nephews.
Ronda was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce DeHart; brother, Bobby DeHart; infant brother, Ryan O'Keith; granddaughter, Shailey Elsworth; grandson, Zaidyn Elsworth; and grandparents.
A funeral service celebrating Ronda's life will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Father Ryan Cox of Saint Luke's Synodal Catholic Church in Indianapolis officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Thursday prior to the funeral service at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
