Robert L. "Bob" Clark, age 78 of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Community Hospital in Anderson following a sudden illness.  He was born on December 31, 1938 in Elwood, the son of Hiram Bennett and Thelma (Brummett) Clark.  He worked at Riegal's Glass Co. in Elwood as a shop and glass technician for over 30 years and retired in 2001.  Robert attended Elwood schools.  He was known for his carpentry and woodworking skills, and was extremely artistic.  Bob enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping in his free time.  More than anything, he enjoyed taking short drives around town and to Frankton.  He will be greatly missed by his family.

Robert's family includes son, Brian Clark of Muncie; 3 daughters, Jolene "Dona" (husband Brad) Semon of Greentown, Kyndra Clark of Greentown, and Kimberly (husband Steve) Barton of Indianapolis; 2 brothers, Fred Clark of Tennessee, and Bill (wife Patty) Clark of Tipton; 6 grandchildren, Kylie, Zailah, Caden, Jase, Kari, and Kaison Lee; sister-in-law Lillian Clark of Daleville; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Bennett (and wife Edna) Clark, Timothy Clark, Rexie (and wife Barbara) Clark, and Earl Clark; and sister, Bonna (and husband Raymond) Willhoite.

A funeral service celebrating Robert's life will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Roger Gardner of East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 PM on Thursday prior to the service at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
