Obituary

Robert L. "Bob" Knotts , age 81 and a lifelong resident of Elwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Sunday, December 1, 2019 following an extended illness.  He was born July 22, 1938 in Elwood, the son of Vernon Knotts and Joe and Nellie (McQuitty) Davis.  Bob attended Wendell L. Willkie High School with the class of 1956, but enlisted in the U.S. Army as soon as he could to serve from 1955 to 1958 in the post-Korean War era.  He married Carolyn S.
