Reva L. (Beckley) Cunnington, age 88 of Magnolia, Texas and formerly of Elwood, died peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born September 21, 1926 in Elwood, the daughter of Arthur Thomas and Cleva I. (Hurst) Beckley. She was a 1944 graduate of Summitville High School. Reva married Rev. Donald J. Cunnington on December 10, 1948. She was a devoted pastor's wife and homemaker all of her life. Reva and her husband made many friends over the years while Don pastored Nazarene churches in Warren, Middletown, Gaston, Redkey, Elkhart, and Elwood.

Reva's family includes her son David J. (wife Patricia) Cunnington of Magnolia, TX; siblings, Vera Etchison of Winter Haven, FL, Larry Lee Beckley of Lakeland, FL, and Deral Ann Beckley of Elwood; 2 grandchildren, Chris (wife Kim) Cunnington and Tricia Cunnington; 2 great-grandchildren, Topher Cunnington and Ellie Cunnington, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of more than 60 years, Rev. Donald J. Cunnington who died September 27, 2009; brother, Jay Keith Beckley; and step-mother, Goldie Beckley.

A funeral service celebrating Reva's life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the First Church of the Nazarene - 1800 North A Street, Elwood, with Rev. Ken Horning officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the church.
