Ramona J. Kimbrough, age 77 of Windfall, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her residence following a chronic illness.  She was born January 10, 1940 in Elwood, the daughter of Charles N. and Gertrude (Gardner) Cox.  Ramona was a 1958 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School.  Ramona was a Homemaker most of her life, and previously worked at both Ex-Cello Corporation in Elwood and the Windfall School cafeteria.  She married the love of her life, Danny J. Kimbrough, on April 15, 1960 and they shared over 57 years of marriage together.  Ramona was a devoted member of Windfall Christian Church.  Through the years, Ramona enjoyed traveling to country music shows with Danny; wonderful dinners with friends; and many memorable trips to LasVegas.  She also was an avid Colts football fan; enjoyed attending the Indianapolis 500; and watching races at Anderson Speedway.  Ramona and Danny enjoyed a very memorable trip to Hawaii for their 50 ^th anniversary.  Ramona also volunteered at Tipton Hospital, and enjoyed playing cards as an avid euchre player.  She had numerous pets over the years, and loved each one of them.  More than anything, she was devoted to her family and loved her children, grandchildren, and great-granchildren very much.

Ramona's family legacy includes a son, Scott E. (wife Rhonda) Kimbrough of Windfall; daughter, Lisa R. (husband Jovon) Rayl of Sharpsville; sister, Olive Davis of Windfall; sister-in-law, Mattie (husband Allen) Cain of Tipton; 10 grandchildren, Danielle (husband Brandon) Sexton of Greenwood, Kaitlyn, Libby, Jared, Noland, Zachari, and Cayleigh Kimbrough all of Windfall, Nathan, Logan, and Holden Rayl all of Sharpsville; great-granddaughter, Addison Sexton and another expected in 2018; daughter-in-law, Connie Kimbrough (companion Donnie Treadway); and numerous nieces and nephews.  Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Danny Kimbrough on October 25, 2017; son, Danny Michael "Mike" Kimbrough; and sister, Georgia McIntyre.
