Ralph "Wayne" Foshee, Jr. , age 29 of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2020 in Elwood.  He was born April 5, 1990 in Bethesda, Maryland the son of Ralph W. Foshee and Debra Redick.  Wayne attended Elwood High School.  He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Elwood, where he was recently baptized in July of 2019.  Wayne enjoyed listening to lots of different types of music and playing video games late into the night.  Although he had some difficulties and challenges in life, Wayne always had a good sense of humor and was known as being the biggest jokester in the family.  He loved being around people and animals, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family's dog "Skyy".  More than anything, Wayne will be remembered as a young man who always looked for the good in everybody.

Wayne's family includes his father and step-mother, Ralph W. (wife Tina) Foshee of Elwood; 2 children, Nevah Foshee and Kerrigan Foshee of Indiana; brother, John (wife Olivia) Redick of Anderson; 2 nephews, Xander Redick and Vincent Redick; uncle, Robert Foshee of Marion; and  cousin, Derrick Phillips of Knoxville, TN.  Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Redick and paternal grandparents, Lloyd Foshee and Marie Cunningham.

A funeral service celebrating Wayne's life will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Rodney Ellis of the First Missionary Baptist Church officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service on Monday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral.   Memorial contributions are suggested to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home to help offset unexpected funeral expenses.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at copherfeslermay.com.
