Raford T. "Tim" Daniel, Jr., age 65 of Salisbury, North Carolina, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana following injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Carroll County, Indiana on Saturday. He was visiting Indiana to preach at numerous churches throughout the state as an Evangelist. He was born June 8, 1948 in Savannah, Georgia, the son of Raford T. and Hazel (Mericer) Daniel, Sr. Tim was a singing Evangelist and Minister for many years, and traveled all around the country singing and preaching the Word of God. He received his music degree from Chowan University and studied Biblical Studies at the Christian Life School of Theology. Tim married Savina Stevens on August 4, 1968. Tim's family includes his wife of more than 45 years, Savina Daniel of Salisbury, NC; son, Jason Edward (wife Heidi) Daniel of Rocky Mount, NC; daughter-in-law, Angela Daniel of Roanoke Rapids, NC; 3 sisters, Darinda "Dee" (husband Tommy) Sanders, Virginia "April" Brinson, Theresa (husband Rodney) Crosby; 1 brother, Perry "Buddy" (wife Chris) Brinson; 6 grandchildren, Alec Daniel, Savina Daniel, Abigail Daniel, Cole Daniel, Gage Daniel and Seth Daniel; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Daniel in 2013; parents; and his adopted parents George and Atha Brinson.
