Patrick Dane "Pat" Gross , age 65 of Marion and formerly raised in rural Fairmount, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Marion General Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born September 26, 1956, one of two twin sons born to Robert D. and Doris M. (Rich) Gross.  Pat entered the world with special needs and disabilities, but he lived a full life enjoying many meaningful things along the way.  Growing up on the family's farm, he enjoyed helping with tasks on the farm; riding on tractors, combines, and corn pickers; and especially loved mowing the yard.  He attended St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marion where he was a member.  Over the years, he found joy in going to tractor pulls, watching derby car races, and swimming at the lakes with his family.  In recent years, he enjoyed playing with miniature cars, Hot Wheels, toy semis, and listening to country music.  One of his favorite things was drinking chocolate milk and eating his favorite candy.  Pat's life was rich in many ways.

Pat's family includes 4 siblings, twin brother - Mike Gross of Swayzee, Dianna (Jim) Lynn of Parker, CO, Jeanne Paliotto of Upper Arlington, OH, and Janice (Gary) Parks of Rochester; and several special nieces and nephews.  Pat has been reunited in Heaven with both his parents.

Private family visitation will take place at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood.  A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Dennis Goth of St. Joseph Church officiating followed by burial.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.copherfeslermay.com.
