Obituary

Page Ann Fettig , age 84 of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Ascension - St. Vincent Mercy Hospital after a long and blessed life.  She was born Oct. 17, 1939 in White County, the daughter of Wilford Page and Anna Mae (Hendrickson) Aldridge.  Page was a 1957 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School.  She married her soulmate, Phillip E. Fettig on August 2, 1958, and they shared 65 years of marriage together.  Page last worked as the Office Manager at their family business in Elwood, Kadet Products, Inc.  She also formerly worked at Indiana-Michigan Power Company, Dr. William Buechler's medical office, and Fettig Canning Company.  Her most important role was that of a devoted mother and homemaker to her husband and four children.

Page Ann was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elwood where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society.  She was also a life member of Sigma Alpha Chi Sorority and former member of the Elwood Country Club.  Page and Phil enjoyed traveling and had traveled extensively in the United States and Europe through the years.  More than anything, Page will be remembered for love of family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Page's family legacy includes her husband, Phil Fettig of Elwood; 4 children, Teresa (Tim) Jones of Noblesville, Dana (Kreig) Kleinbub of Elwood, Eric (Angie) Fettig of Cicero, and Kristi (Jeff) Whitinger of Bremen; sister, Carolyn (Lonnie) Watson of Tipton; 9 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Tyler) Painter, Laura (Bryan) Brearley, Tom (Sarah) Jones, Brant (Joanne) Fettig, Adam Fettig, Isaac Fettig (Fiancé Maggie), Ellen (Nick) Appicelli, Mikaela (Austin) Gantzert, and Maggie Whitinger (fiancé Matt); 7 great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Emma, Rhys, Ford, Thomas, Rhett, Charlotte, and another expected in 2024; and several nieces and nephews.  Page was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Norman Aldridge and David Aldridge.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at St. Joseph Church in Elwood with Father Dennis Goth officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Elwood.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home and will include a Rosary service at 6:30 pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society or the American Heart Association.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.copherfeslermay.com.
