Nora O. Augimeri, age 91 of Elwood, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was born April 3, 1921 in Summitville, the daughter of Ora Guy and Hazel (Havens) Oldfield. Nora was an executive secretary for General Telephone Company in Florida for more than 40 years. She was a 1938 graduate of Summitville High School. Nora was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Elwood, and was a devoted volunteer at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood for many years. She was also an active member of the 50-Plus Club in Elwood.

Her family includes a daughter, Faith (husband Mike) Trimble of Elwood; 3 grandchildren, Julia (husband Jeff) Miller of New Castle, Angela Gross of St. Petersburg, FL, and Carey Gross of Fort Wayne; 4 great-grandchildren, C.J. (wife Mary) Miller, Chelsea (husband Adam) Kilian, Megan (husband Matt) Lacy, and Ashley O'Connor; 2 great-great grandchildren Markous Miller and Brance Miller; and sister-in-law, Sara Oldfield.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank Mohler who died in 1969; and 2 brothers, Ora Oldfield and William Oldfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Jim Snapp of the Curtisville Christian Church officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Vinson Cemetery in Summitville. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
