Neil Edward Wiseman, age 26 of Elwood, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 4, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 24, 1987 in Indianapolis, the son of Randy Wiseman and Penny E. (Wallis) York. Neil worked with his grandfather in his cleaning and sanitation business. He enjoyed personal fitness and training. He was an avid music enthusiast and loved playing his guitar.

Neil's family includes his mother, Penny E. (Wallis) York of Elwood; father, Randy Wiseman of Indianapolis; step-father, Steven York of Elwood; brother, Michael York of Elwood; sister, Alyssa York of Elwood; maternal grandparents, George and Beverly Wallis of Elwood; paternal grandparents, Roberta and Harold Reed of Noblesville; and special grandparents, James and Carolyn York. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Wiseman and an uncle, Barry Bannon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Dr. Woody Noblet of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2013 prior to the funeral service at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
