Millie Marie King gained her angel wings after 10 minutes of life on December 2, 2016 at St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis. She was the much anticipated daughter of Matthew Lee King of Tipton and Abigail Rene' Marley of Elwood. She was baptized immediately after her birth and weighed 7 pounds, 10 oz. and 15½" in length. Her earthly body could not sustain her, but was made perfectly for her Heavenly home. Millie's life taught all her family about grace, love, and forgiveness.

Millie's family includes her parents; maternal grandparents, Dan and Kim Marley of Elwood; paternal grandparents, Robert and Nicole King of Tipton; maternal great-grandfathers, Fred Mort and James Marley both of Elwood; paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Donna Whitted of Tipton and Sharon King of Windfall; maternal aunts, Gabrielle Meyer, Isabelle Marley, and Danielle Marley; paternal uncle, Cory King; and several other extended family members. Millie was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmothers, Pamela Mort and Judy Marley and paternal great-grandfather, Lyle King.

A funeral service for Millie will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Roger Gardner of East Main Street Christian Church officiating. A time of gathering and visitation will take place from 4 to 6 PM on Friday prior to the funeral service at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
