Mary Susan Wells, age 95 of Elwood, died December 22, 2010 at her residence in Elwood. She was born January 5, 1915 in Alexandria. She was the owner of Wells Bowling Lanes in Elwood, and retired in 1970. She was a 1933 graduate of Summitville High School. She married Edgar N. ?Ed? Wells on December 10, 1938. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Elwood. She was a member of the T.F.O. Club, the Association of Widowed People, and the Help Your Neighbor Club. She was also a member of the Mary Hanlin Bowling League and the Georgia Wells Coffee League. She enjoyed cooking and traveling, and was an avid card player and animal lover. Survivors include: Son ? Joe Wells (companion Linda Werline) of Elwood; 2 Daughters ? Sharon (Kent) Justus of Alexandria and Marcia (Butch) Goings of Summitville; 5 Grandchildren ? Marty (Monica) Wells of Elwood, Becky (Dave) Thompson of Summitville, Marla (Kelly) Ozenbaugh of Elwood, Robin (Neil) Loughlin of Ortinville, MI, and Brad (Jenny) Justus of Pendleton; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Step-Grandchildren; and a Great-Great Grandson. She was preceded in death by: Parents ? A.C. and Blanche Spitzmesser) Woolley; Husband who died January 14, 1981 ? Edgar N. ?Ed? Wells; 3 Brothers ? Charles Woolley, George Woolley, and Art Woolley; and Daughter-in-Law ? Georgia Wells. Funeral Services will be conducted at 5:00 PM Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Chris Dare of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Entombment will take place privately at the Elwood City Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 PM Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
