Mark A. Call, age 56 of Elwood, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following a brief struggle with cancer. He was born on September 21, 1961 in Elwood, the son of Ralph B. and Joyce (Bradburn) Call. Mark worked in the RV manufacturing industry as a production manager at Fairmont RV in Elkhart for many years, and later well-known locally as the man behind the meat counter at the Elwood Marsh store. Mark was a 1980 graduate of Elwood High School, and later took some college courses. He enjoyed participating in recreational sporting leagues such as softball and golf, and was an accomplished bowler who carried a 200+ average. Mark was a NASCAR enthusiast, and closely followed his favorite football teams, including Notre Dame, the Rams, and the Indianapolis Colts. He is fondly remembered as a dad, son, brother, and uncle who loved to play games and have fun in activities of all kinds. Whether he was playing board games, swimming, or winning a game of HORSE with his amazing hook shot in basketball; Mark will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
