Lucas J. Keesling, age 25 of Elwood, died unexpectedly on November 12, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood. He was born December 22, 1985 in Anderson. He was a Fork Truck Driver at Carter Express in Anderson. Lucas was a 2006 graduate of Elwood Community High School. He enjoyed working on old cars, fishing, model cars, and music.

He is survived by: Mother and Step-Dad – Beth K. (Johnson) and Jeff Keesling of Elwood; Father – Larry Keesling; Daughter – Willow J. Keesling of Alexandria; 3 Brothers – Michael Finnerty of Anderson, Destry Keesling of Elwood, and Cody Keesling of Lapel; Maternal Grandmother – Zola Kelly of Anderson; and Paternal Grandmother – Sheila Keesling of Cicero.

Lucas was preceded in death by his Grandfathers – Bill Johnson and Cecil Keesling.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood. Cremation will follow.
