Lotta Lee-Shelby, age 95 of Cumming, GA and formerly of Elwood passed away April 10, 2016 at the Oaks at Hampton in Cumming. Lotta was born October 9, 1920. Lotta married Ray E. Lee and they moved from Indiana to Georgia in the 1940's where she embraced the southern lifestyle. She and her husband were co-owners of Tuxedo Auto Parts in Sandy Springs, GA. After their retirement, they moved to Cumming. Lotta was an active member of the Cumming Baptist Church and served on several committees. She enjoyed entertaining and hosting parties at her home on Lake Lanier.
Lotta's local family members include; sister-in-law, Wilma Lee of Elwood; great nieces and nephews, Terry (wife Jenny) Crull, Cheryl Ford (fiance' Kevin Bauer), David (wife Jennifer) Richards, and Michael (wife Kelli) Richards; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held in Cumming, GA and a graveside service will be conducted at 2: PM on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park in Elwood. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
