Linda L.
Kidwell
Feb 17, 1950 — Aug 9, 2025
Linda L. Kidwell , age 75 of Noblesville and formerly of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Riverview Health Hospital in Noblesville. She was born February 17, 1950 in Elwood, the daughter of Jimmie K. and Rosella E. "Rosie" (Brillhart) Murray. Linda was a 1968 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School. She was raised in and baptized at East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood. Linda retired in 2005 after 30 years as an IT Specialist from Defense Finance and Security at the Fort Benjamin Harrison Base in Lawrence. She enjoyed taking long car rides through the country in her favorite red Volkswagen Beetle. Linda liked to take trips and explore the world, and she especially enjoyed many trips to Arizona and a memorable trip to Hawaii where she ran in a half-marathon. She found pleasure in cooking, baking, antiquing, reading, writing, and spending lots of time outdoors. Linda absolutely loved to spend time with her family, going out to dinner and taking trips with her friends. She was a strong-willed, independent woman who always found ways to provide for others. Linda was known for making herself available, lend a helping hand, or merely be present to listen to others. More than anything, Linda will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Linda's family includes her son, Darren Kidwell of Noblesville; sister, Rhonda Carpenter of Warner Robins, GA; 3 grandchildren, Jordyn Dugger, Austin (Jenna) Dugger, and Macy Coonce (fiancé Gavin Ballman); great-grandson, Michael Dugger; nephew, Todd Adams of Kokomo; step-son, John Kidwell; close friend, Vicki Clay of Pendleton; and several extended family members and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Henn; daughter, Lisa Renee Henn; and brother, Lynn Murray.
