Linda K. Collier , age 63 and a lifelong resident of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at her residence in Elwood.  She was born January 8, 1956 in Elwood, the daughter of Robert A. and Shirley E. (Hendricks) Collier.  Linda attended Wendell L. Willkie High School.  She liked to play bingo, watch old television shows, and take daily walks.  Her favorite singer of all time was Gunner Nelson.  Linda never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone.  She had a true heart of gold by always thinking of others before herself.  Linda loved to buy people gifts and wrap each present individually which made the present more meaningful.  She enjoyed going shopping to pick out surprises for her family, and more than anything - Linda lived a happy, independent life.

Linda's family includes brother, Danny (wife Sherri) Collier of Elwood; sister, Tami Collier of Noblesville; 10 nieces and nephews; and 7 great-nieces and nephews.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Ruby (husband Raymond) Albers and Florence (husband Shirl) Hendricks; aunt, Nancy Baker; and siblings, Steve Collier, Cathy Collier, Barbara Collier and Robert R. Collier.

Cremation was chosen.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date and will be announced at that time.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May in Elwood.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at copherfeslermay.com.
