Linda Sue (Hines) Capps , age 67 of Elwood, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.  She was born June 25, 1952 in Anderson, the daughter of Richard A. and Wanita (Gipson) Hines.  Linda graduated from Frankton High School.  Linda was very close to her aunt and uncle, Ross Jackson and V. Mae (Whitehead) Gipson who helped raise her.  She especially enjoyed going to Friendly's restaurant in Elwood to drink coffee and spend time with her friends.  Linda also loved her dog, "Daisy", who was her close companion for many years.  Linda will be greatly missed, and her family finds comfort knowing she is at peace in her Heavenly home.

Linda's family includes daughter, Jamie Lynn Phipps of Noblesville and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents; special aunt and uncle, Ross Jackson (wife V. Mae) Gipson; 2 brothers, Richard Hines and James VeVare; and 2 sisters, Jo Ellen Hines and Vicki Hines.

Per Linda's wishes, cremation was chosen and no formal services will take place.  Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for Linda's arrangements.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at copherfeslermay.com.
