Linda Jane Angell, age 67 of Elwood, died Monday May 20, 2013 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness. She was born June 18, 1945 in Elwood, the daughter of Carl W. and Mary K. (Glass) Chambers. She retired in in 1997 from Delco Electronics Corporation in Kokomo where she worked in production for more than 35 years. She married Victor Ray Angell in October of 1968. Linda loved to spend time fishing, traveling, and playing games at the casino. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dog, "Giggles".
Linda's family includes 4 children, Johnny R. Angell of Elwood, James W. (wife Alicia) Angell of Elwood, Tyanna C. (husband David) Cole of Boyelston, and Vicki R. Angell of Elwood; 2 brothers, Larry (wife Joyce) Chambers of Elwood and John (wife Barb) Chambers of Elwood; 2 sisters, Carolyn (husband Doyle) Tomlinson of Elwood and Kathy (husband Terry) Raquet of Cedar Park, TX; 6 grandchildren, Dustin Angell, Caleb Angell, Courtney Cole, Makayla Angell, Paige Schenck, and Kyle Angell; and several nieces and nephews. She
was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of more than 38 years, Victor Ray Angell, who died June 17, 2007.
