Lillian N. Savage , age 80 of Elwood and formerly of Anderson, passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at home.  She was born August 22, 1941 in Anderson, the daughter of Calvin and Margaret (Turner) Chambers.  Lillian worked at Dunkin' Donuts in Anderson for many years as a waitress.  She enjoyed crocheting and fishing.  Lillian was known for being a very good cook who enjoyed caring for her family.  In her free time, she also liked watching races at the Anderson Speedway and especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, "Miley".

Lillian's family includes 3 children, David (Shannon) Hammitt of Elwood, Eddie (Amber) Garmon of Alexandria, and Bobbie Shive (Ray Zirkle) of Anderson; brother, Bob (Cindy) Chambers of Anderson; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, William "Bill" Chambers and Roger Dale Hammitt; and 3 siblings, Marvin Chambers, Peggy Zaring, and Sara Sigler.
