Obituary

Leslie Ann Fogleman , age 44 of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.  She was born July 21, 1975 in Elwood, the daughter of Donald W. Sagarsee and Alice L. (Norfleet) Conners.  Leslie attended Hawthorn High School in Florida and later obtained certificates in training for firefighting and home healthcare.  While living in Florida, Leslie was a volunteer firefighter and rescue team member for many years.  She most recently worked for Heaven Sent as a home healthcare nurse for the past two years.  She enjoyed listening to country music and attending concerts with family and friends.  Leslie loved to be outdoors - fishing, camping and sitting around the fire.  She was known for always joking around with everyone, and she never met a stranger.  Leslie especially liked butterflies and frogs, and she found relaxation by coloring.  More than anything, Leslie loved her family and her children.

Leslie's family includes 4 children, Justin Toms, Brittany Toms, Sylvia Toms and Colton Shadoan, all of Florida; 10 siblings, Gail (husband John) Dowler of Elwood, Ronald (wife Shelia) Sagarsee of Kokomo, Kenny (wife Kim) Sheldon of Florida, Pat (wife Pam) Sheldon Missouri, Jennell Sagarsee of Kokomo, Nancy (husband Tom) Peters of Kokomo, Phyllis (husband Larry) Rhoton of Kokomo, Leasa Sagarsee of Kempton, Jeremiah Sagarsee of Jasper, and Doni Troxell of Muncie; special sister, Geneva Lane of Marion; granddaughter, Gracelyn and another expected in 2020; special dog, "Skye"; special nephew, Ronnie Sagarsee of Kokomo; and several more nieces and nephews.  Leslie was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Arthur "Art" Sheldon.

Per Leslie's wishes, cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood.  Online condolences and memories for Leslie's family may be shared at copherfeslermay.com.
