Landon Elijah-Ray Laypoole, infant son of Raymond Andrew "Andy" Laypoole and Stacy Marie Gross of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly during normal pregnancy on November 11, 2015 at IU Health - Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Landon's birth was being lovingly anticipated by his whole family. Although his mother and father were not able to meet him in life on earth, they know they will see him again in Heaven.

His surviving family members include his mother and father both of Elwood; paternal grandmother Alice L. Hawkins and companion, David Rich both of Alexandria; maternal grandfather Dwight V. (wife Teresa) Gross of Elwood; aunts and uncles, Melissa Phipps, Nick Phipps, Michael Gross, and Dwight V. "DJ" Gross; good family friends, Brittany Strong and Rachel Burt.

Landon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Earl Laypoole; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Rosezetta Gross; and infant cousin, David Gross.

Graveside services for Landon will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Babyland section of Elwood City Cemetery with Sister Rosie Coughlin officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
