Kimberly Renae (Edens) McShane, age 48 of Elwood, died June 13, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following an extended illness. She was born March 21, 1963 in Elwood - the daughter of Lemuel "Phil" and Lydia "Ina" (Matlock) Edens. She worked as a Disc Jockey for WLHN and WERK radio stations for 11 years and retired in 1999. She also formerly worked at the Kutche automobile dealership in Elwood as a greeter. She graduated in 1981 from Elwood Community High School. She was a member of the Spiritualist Church in Chesterfield, and enjoyed music and spending time with her beloved family.

Survivors include: Mother – Ina Edens of Elwood; Son – Sean M. McShane of Elwood; Special Friend and longtime Companion – Gary R. Crandall of Elwood; Sister-in-law – Shelly Edens of Elwood; Nephew – Lynn (Nicole) Edens of Elwood; Great-Nephew – Roger L. "Trey" Edens III of Elwood; Great-Niece – Lynnzee K. Edens of Elwood; and Special "adopted" Daughter - Robin Crandall of Elwood.

She was preceded in death by her Father – Lemuel "Phil" Edens and her Brother – Rev. Roger Edens.

A Life Celebration Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Main Street Wesleyan Church Family Life Center in Elwood with Rev. Ron Becker and Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
