Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Sallee , age 87 of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at his home.  He was born September 2, 1938 in Kentucky, the son of Stanley and Dorothy (Lewis) Sallee.  Kenny was a graduate of Frankton Schools.  He was a true hard worker and always found ways to provide for his family.  Kenny previously worked in construction, truck driving, and was truly a jack of all trades.  He always had to be busy, and found great joy in working for himself.  When Kenny wasn't working, he enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, and camping.

Kenny is survived by 7 children, Teresa (Mark) Hobbs of Elwood, Robert (Carol) Sallee of Elwood, Peggy Louise Sallee, Tonya Condon, Tommy Sallee, Tim Sallee, and Sabrina (Jim) Stickler; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and several extended family members and friends.  Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters, Dolly Plough, and Kathy Colton; brother, Stanley Sallee; and 2 sisters, Mary Amos, and Peggy McElfresh.
