Kelly R. Davis, age 54, of Elwood, embraced life fully and found beauty in every moment. She passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at her residence following a brief illness. Born on October 17, 1971, in Anderson, she was the cherished daughter of Rod and Linda (Wyatt) Haskett. Kelly graduated from Alexandria Monroe High School in 1990 and spent over eight years as a dedicated produce manager at Harvest Supermarket.

Kelly’s love for life was evident in her passion for nurturing her flower garden, where she found serenity and joy among the blooms. She delighted in the simple pleasures—attending local festivals, admiring nature’s wonders, and curating her whimsical collection of gnome and mushroom treasures. Known for her signature “hobo” purses that seemed to hold endless surprises, Kelly’s spirit was as vibrant as her garden. Her laughter, warmth, and zest for life touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kelly is survived by her mother, Linda Haskett of Alexandria; long-time companion, John Davis of Elwood; 3 daughters, Karrie (Justin) Shipley of Alexandria, Kasey (Cody Gillespie) Davis of Markleville, and Katelyn Davis of Anderson; 3 brothers, Roddy (Jennifer) Haskett of Elwood, Charlie (Cyndi) Haskett of Kentucky, and Cory (Tina) Haskett of Frankton; special niece, Bella Haskett; 7 grandchildren; and many more nieces, nephews, and friends. Kelly is preceded in death by her father, and maternal grandmother, Lucille Wyatt.
