Kathy Jean Rebuck , age 72 of Tacoma, Washington, and formerly a longtime resident of Elwood, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 19th, 2026 in Tacoma, Washington.  She was born May 4th, 1953 in Elwood, the daughter of David and Jean Stafford.  Kathy devoted her life as a registered nurse for over 35 years retiring in 2020.  She was a member of Calvary Christian Church in Sumner, WA.  She was also an active member of Celebrate Recovery.  Kathy was passionate about helping and caring for others; and she loved her family very much.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Dobbins (Brian) of Algona, WA; brother, David Stafford of Bonney Lake, WA; sisters, Ruth Bonner (Nate) of Elwood, IN, and Susan Gibson of Oceanside, CA; granddaughter McKenzie Winne (James) of Bonney Lake, WA; grandson Samuel Harris of Bonney Lake, WA; and 3 great-granddaughters, Haylie Harris, Kali Sweet and Emma Winne.  Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, David and Jean Stafford; husband, Robert "Bob" Rebuck; daughter, Charlotte Sikora; and grandson Trenton Harris.
