Kara J. (Graham) McPhearson, age 28 of Elwood, died Monday December 10, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following heart valve surgery. She was born June 19, 1984 the daughter of Timothy J. and Pamela J. (Ashley) Graham. She was a certified nurse's aide and formerly worked with Heaven Sent Home Health Care in Elwood. She married Randy W. McPhearson on June 14, 2011. Kara was a 2002 graduate of Tipton High School and enjoyed playing high school softball. She formerly attended the Professional Hair Academy in Anderson, and she enjoyed doing nails for her friends and family. She formerly attended the East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood. Kara enjoyed riding with her husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycle. She loved spending time with her children and her family and was an avid reader. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister and will be missed by all who knew her.

Kara's family includes her husband, Randy W. McPhearson of Elwood; 2 sons, Trayton Matthew Bingham and Mason Lee Bingham of Elwood; parents, Timothy J. and Pamela J. Graham of Elwood; brother, Clint (wife Heather) Graham of Alexandria; mother-in-law, Linda McPhearson of Elwood; brothers and sisters-in-law, Veronica (husband Bill) Harris, Michael (wife Linda) York, Misty McPhearson, and Ron McPhearson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lee and Norma Graham; maternal grandparents, William and Bonnie Ashley; and special uncle, Frank Ashley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Sue Gardner officiating.
