Judy I. "Sunny" Gross, age 59 of West Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her residence.  She was born December 25, 1959 in Shelbyville, Tennessee, the daughter of Sterling and Jan (Hamilton) Mitchell.  Sunny married Jerry Gross on February 14, 2005 in Mattoon, Illinois.

Sunny's family includes her loving husband, Jerry Gross of West Lafayette; 3 children, Mary Gross of Elwood, Rachel Gross of Frankton, and Jonathan Gross of Elwood; 2 sisters, Jan (husband Chuck) Roden, and Jewel Highland; 3 brothers; mother-in-law, Linda Ead of Elwood; 3 grandchildren, Charolette, Chance, and Roman; best friend, Donna Turner; and several nieces and nephews.  Sunny was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Sunny's wishes cremation was chosen.  Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elwood.   Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.  Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home has been entrusted with Sunny's funeral arrangements.  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
