Obituary

Janice Mae Kessinger , age 80 of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 surrounded by her family at her home following a brief diagnosis of A.L.S. She was born on May 13, 1937 in Grant County, the daughter of Paul Lee and Mildred J. (Stinger) Simmons. Janice worked as a sales clerk for Leeson's Department Store in Elwood and later, the Spurgeons and the S&J Store in the same building for numerous years. She also formerly worked at Harvest Market as a cashier and worked at Fettig Canning Factory at Point Isabel. More than anything, Janice was devoted to all her family; and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
