James A. "Jim" Stanley, age 70 of Alexandria, died August 12, 2014 at Countryside Manor in Anderson after an extended illness. He was born September 1, 1943 in Anderson, the son of Frank C. and Mildred Maxine (McDole) Stanley. He retired in 2000 from ATR Wire and Cable in Danville, KY where he had worked in maintenance for 28 years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
